Brookville, Ind Jan 2 – Mrs. Rachel
Goodwin, aged 74 years widow of John Goodwin, who founded Asbury University
(Now Depauw) at Greencastle, died suddenly in her home in this city Wednesday.
Mrs. Goodwin had been in ill health for some time and her death was hastened by
a stroke of apoplexy. The funeral will be held from the Goodwin residence Friday. - kbz
